WE ARE MOVING TO A NEW PLATFORM! AS OF 6/28/2021, WE WILL BE UNABLE TO ADD NEW USERS HERE. LOOK FOR US ON CentralReach IN THE NEAR FUTURE!!! The material presented in this course was developed and is delivered by Dr. Lauren Beaulieu, BCBA-D, LABA and Dr. Corina Jimenez-Gomez, BCBA-D, LBA. It provides an introduction to cultural competence for behavior analysts. We discuss culture and cultural competency, cultural humility, self-assessments, culturally responsive assessment, treatment, supervision, and ethical decision making. The course is a blend of short videos, application activities, and quizzes to assist you in learning the material. Closed captioning is available and transcripts and PowerPoints are available for each video. In the CE course, behavior analysts will earn 8 continuing education credits (CEs) for this course (which includes 4 ethics CEs and 1 supervision CE). In the NON-CE Course for Students Enrolled in Two-Year Program, ABA students will have access to all material in the NON-CE courses for 2 years, some training programs may incorporate this in their training. Finally, the NON-CE Courses by Modules offer students or those not seeking CEs the opportunity to complete sections of the training. With this option, participants have access to materials for one semester. [Photo by Shapelined on Unsplash]
